Effecacy Test

From cosmetic raw materials to products, we are conducting various evaluation tests at the cellular and human levels.
Constant temperature and humidity rooms are set up for human evaluation tests at Skin Research Center and Yokohama Laboratory to create an environment suitable for measurement.
We propose an appropriate test method upon request.

  • Anti-aging and anti-wrinkle evaluation (conforming to anti-wrinkle product evaluation guidelines)
  • Moisturizing / epidermal barrier function evaluation
  • Whitening evaluation
  • Pore evaluation
  • Product rheology evaluation
  • Skin permeability evaluation
  • Evaluation of finish of makeup products, etc.

Safety test

We have adopted safety tests that do not require animals to evaluate the safety of raw materials or products.
We can conduct tests using not only the method that complies with the internationally recognized OECD guideline, but also according to our own standards. Furthermore, we can arrange tests aiming to prove that products can be safely used for consumers with sensitive skin.

  • Skin irritation test
Skin irritation test using a three-dimensional cultured epidermis model: OECD Test Guideline No.439
  • Phototoxicity test
3T3 NRU Study: OECD Guideline No.432
  • Eye irritation test
STE test using SIRC cells : OECD Test Guideline No.491, Eye irritation test using human three-dimensional cultured corneal epithelium model
  • Genotoxicity test
Ames test, In vitro micronucleus test, Chromosomal aberration test
